  • In 2005 ICTS Albania was established and awarded the contract for the provision of the entire security services at Tirana International Airport.
  • ICTS offered every possible assistance with procedures and standards to TIA management from the very beginning and together TIA and ICTS started an amazing for the country project
  • By 2008 ICTS Albania had extended its operations to all aspects of Aviation and General Security, assuming responsibility for the management of safety and securityoperations at the Sheraton Hotel .
  • 2012 saw further growth with ICTS Albania expanding its client base to provide security assessment and consultancy services to key organization within the oil & gas, energy,and heavy industries markets including: ANTEA TITAN, Stream Oil, NISOVA Energy, and the state authority IQT.
  • Leveraging on its aviation security experience, ICTS Albania extended its inherent skill sets into the Maritime Security arena by managing the security operations atPorto Romano and the Italian owned Marina of Orikum.
  • Other clients to establish partnership with ICTS Albania included the successful Italia hospital SALUSandthe German owned Tirana Business Park – Albania’s largest private investment. o Since then ICTS Albania moved from strength to strength, playing a key role in the formulation of security standards in the country; enforcing them through training of security offices at the Bank of Albania and various private banks, the Air Navigation Services of Albania - AlbControl, and Albanian Airways
  • In 2014 the Albanian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has awarded ICTS Albania RSO (Recognised Security Organisation) status for the maritime sector. With this award ICTS Albania has become the only organisation licensed to deliver maritime security services in Albania in line with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code of Practice.
  • As a testimony of its consistently high quality and compliance track record,the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority renewed all of ICTS Albania’s AVSEC Security Licenses and Quality Certifications. o A team of maritime security experts from both ICTS Albania and ICTS Europe worked closely with Albania’s 2 major seaport, Durres and Vlora, to obtain ISPS certification, thereby paving theway to theprosperity and sustainable future of the maritime sector in Albania.
  • 2014 and 2015 saw ICTS expanding its range of services into the Events Security arena securing high-profileevents such as the Albanian-German Business Forum with Chancellor Merkel at TBP, the Norwegian and French national football teams visit, and prominent events hosted by foreign Embassies, the German Chamber of Commerce, and other similar organizations.
  • In October 2015 Tirana International Airport has renew its Security contract with ICTS Albania for the third consecutive time, entrusting ICTS with thesafeguard of itspremises and 2M passengers a year.
  • ICTS Albania staff increases to 200 employees.
