The New Centre of Excellence in South Eastern EuropeFast-growing and dynamic, with cutting edge technology solutions to compliment a wide range of services, ICTS Albania commenced its operation at Tirana International Airport “Nene Teresa” in April 2005 with the Commencement of the BOOT Concession granted to the private operator, Tirana Airport Partners
Whilst taking over an airport with imminent needs to increase the security standards to international ones, ICTS Albania succeeded in transforming the airport into one of the safest in the region and internationally. As a result, British Airways commenced its first flights to and from Albania only 6 months after take over of the security services by ICTS and other international airlines such as Lufthansa and American TransAir followed.
With a dedicated team of 90 employees, ICTS Albania excelled anew with the smooth transfer of the security operations from the Old Passenger Terminal to the New Passenger Terminal on March 22nd 2007.
